Four Seasons Cottage

The Four Seasons is a cozy cottage with en suite four rooms, each room is decorated to represent a season.

Big Five Cottage

The Big Five is a large cottage that is decorated to represent the Big Five.

Weltevrede Lodge is a family venture where Elaine, Erika, and Robert humbly offer to share their great love for the bushveld and its animals.  A place where you can experience peace and tranquillity with nature and the opportunity to create cherishable memories.  We are situated in a wildlife conservancy, the nature vacation town of Marloth Park, where we have two large houses, the Four Seasons & the Big Five, which are approximately 400m from the river.  Our logo is the Marlothii aloe, named by Rudolf Marloth, a German botanist, after whom Marloth park was named.

Our charming thatched-roof cottages are surrounded by natural vegetation, adding to the bushveld experience.  They are free-standing and fully furnished with modern amenities, which offers a home from home comfort.  Each with undercover parking, secure braai area, splash pool, Free Wi-Fi, prepaid Satellite TV (DSTV), prepaid air-conditioning and fans.  Linen and bathroom towels supplied (please bring your own swimming towels).  We are baby-friendly and have a small play area for toddlers.  Please note that we have resident bushbabies on the premises and you are welcome to bring them some bananas and plain yogurt.  Game pellets are available for the local bushbuck and other fauna.

Marloth Park borders the southern part of the legendary Kruger National Park, along the banks of the Crocodile River.  We are close to the Swaziland and Mozambique borders, both of which boast some of the most scenic sightseeing destinations in the area.  The weather is warm year-round but reasonably warmer in the summer, when our rain season brings a burst of green to the dull dry bush, and when new offspring are plentiful.
